JOHN LENNON SONGWRITING CONTEST WINNER ADAM SEARAN PREMIERES DEBUT EP ON ITUNES
Currently featured as a New and Noteworthy Country Artist

New PLA Media client, Adam Searan hits iTunes today with an EP featuring Last, the Grand Prize winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest - Country Category. Last, co-written with Jon D'Agostino, exemplifies Adam's smooth Keith Urban meets Phillip Phillips edge of country sound.
"Winning the John Lennon Songwriting Contest was phenomenal and was truly an honor I could have only imagined I might win one day," recalls Adam. "Last is such a special tune for me. It explores the timeless vision that love is a constant journey of discovery that doesn't just stop after a rough season, but can endure even beyond a lifetime of changes.

The John Lennon Songwriting Contest is an international songwriting contest that began in 1997. The Contest is open to amateur and professional songwriters who submit entries in any one of 12 categories. The panel of judges for this year included George Clinton, The Black Eyed Peas, Prince Royce, 311, and Jim Steinman.
"Adam, with his distinctive look style, and sound, has created a brand that is unique in contemporary country music," says Jon D'Agostino, co-writer and President of Demolition Music Publishing. "With his passionate lyrics and uplifting melodies, he puts his signature on every song and is sure to become a staple in any great music collection."

With influences as diverse as Oasis and the Counting Crows to Hank Williams and Keith Urban, Adam pulls together an infusion of heartfelt storytelling and complex melody. This Nashville-raised singer/songwriter has had songs featured in prime-time hit series such as Cold Case, Miami Ink and American Weed. However, Adam is more than just a fantastic songwriter; he is also an electric entertainer. He has a penchant for connecting with a live audience. Whether performing to a full house or handful of listeners, he knows how to engage and entertain anyone in the room.

About Adam Searan
At age 11, Adam began experimenting musically with simple songs that were rooted in his faith and helped him overcome great challenges in life. Inspired by the sounds of the hit British rock band Oasis and fueled by a vast variety of other contemporary story-telling artists such as John Prine, David Gray, the Counting Crows, Keith Urban and others, Adam has grown into a solid musician and reflective songwriter. Fresh new melodic direction and the avoidance of clich├ęs are just two of his greatest strengths as a writer. Jon D'Agostino, owner of Demolition Music Publishing, LLC, recently inked a publishing deal with Adam and together they hope to build a lasting impression on the ears and hearts of the masses. Recently, Adam secured the Grand Prize win in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song Last co-written with Jon D'Agostino. His self-titled EP includes the award-winning song as well as six other dynamic contributions all written or co-written by Adam.
